Alpha Xi Delta

Iota Mu at Lycoming College

Chapter History

The Iota Mu Chapter of Alpha Xi Delta began as a Sorority Interest Group (SIG). The women who were a part of SIG decided they wanted to bring a second National sorority to Lycoming's campus and began researching what different National sororities stood for. They found what they were looking for in Alpha Xi Delta. After getting approval from Lycoming College and Alpha Xi Delta Fraternity, the SIG became an Alpha Xi Delta Colony in spring 2004. On April 17, 2005, National installed the Colony as the Iota Mu Chapter of Alpha Xi Delta.
